Description
Mozart Symphonies No 38 (Prague) & No 39.
Otto Klemperer conducting the Philharmonia orchestra
EMI SAX 2468 - Stereo
The LP is in EX condition. There are a few pops/ticks, and one very short faint repetitive tick on side one (2 revs) Apart from that the sound is beautifully clean and clear. The cover is in EX+ condition. I would say NM but there is tiny bit of creasing at the top right hand corner. It has been looked after very well, having been kept in its original protective sleeve that it was sealed in when it was bought. Like most of the LP's I am selling this time round, even the 'guaranteed unplayed' seal is still on the sleeve, something I have not seen before.
Another wonderful recording in excellent condition. It is a pleasure just to look at it! The performances are also top notch as one would expect from Klemperer and the Philharmonia Orchestra.
This LP comes from a large collection of records owned by a retired music professor that I am selling on his behalf. There are some gems in the collection which I will post for auction soon. I do not grade the records visually, I listen to them in their entirety and try to give as accurate description of the condition as I can.
If purchasing more than one LP please wait for a revised invoice before making payment. If you have any postage preferences then contact me as soon as possible to let me know. I send parcels by first class, but am happy to revise this and the postage cost, and send them 2nd class if you prefer. For international buyers, if you want to have your LP sent as a registered parcel to be signed for, please contact me before making your payment.
