MTUME: "REBIRTH CYCLE" LP - On 3rd St Records, TSJ 100.  Ultra rare U.S. private press free jazz gem.  Guaranteed original 1977 pressing on obscure Philadelphia label - NOT A REISSUE.  Recorded February 1974 with vocals by Jean Carn and Dee Dee Bridgewater.  The personnel also includes:  Pete Cosey, Stanley Cowell, Cecil McBee, Jimmy Heath, Billy Hart, Azar Lawrence, Buster Williams, Reggie Lewis, and many others.  The vinyl is in NM- condition (beautiful gloss).  Plays great!!  The thick cardboard cover is in VG+ shape and displays nicely.  There are NO bends or creases, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  The songs are:  Sais (Intro); Sais; Yebo; Cabral; Body Sounds; Umoja.
