Description
This is a beautiful 10" record from their early days on Chess Records in fantastic condition. It was released as part of a very limited run - looks like it was only 300 world wide (see http://www.discogs.com/Mumford-Sons-The-Cave-EP/release/1976837). The record is etched on one side, and the gatefold sleeve includes hand numbered prints - still in their packets. Here's more info that another seller gave for this release - "...prior to the their first album, including a rare Bespoke 10” gatefold sleeve, featuring exclusive artwork on cover, inside and back. Virgin vinyl 10” record pressed on the EMI 1400, containing two new Mumford & Sons tracks, ‘The Cave’ and ‘But My Heart Told My Head’, on the A-side, with a beautiful, exclusive etching on the B-side. Sleeve also contains three exclusive hand numbered giclee art prints, created specifically for this edition by Scottish artist Sophie Milner. This highly collectible music and art edition is limited to only 300 copies worldwide."
It was originally bought from the now closed Pure Groove records in Clerkenwell, London, after an amazing instore gig.
