We are auctioning the LAST remaining copy of the rarest-of- rare Music Emporium self-titled debut LPs on Sentinel Records, PC69001, for the Estate of Jack Ames, the Founder of Sentinel. This copy belongs to his son, Mark Ames. All remaining copies have been either destroyed (regretfully, years ago, cases were thrown out) or sold (some may remember the large quantity that appeared on the market in the mid-1990s--in which the Ames' family were totally screwed, we might add, since they had no idea of this records value at the time). This copy was never even jacketed or released. It is in mint, unplayed condition. It has been kept in a record sleeve and boxed up for years so it has a bit of light dust. We did not want to touch or try to clean it, and will leave that to the eventual new owner.

This LP has been rated by many to be one of the most highly collectible records ever! The most recent auction we were able to verify had a RELEASED copy in mint condition with jacket which sold in 2003 for $1525.00 on eBay. We are offering this LP at a very reasonable beginning price.

Mark Ames has gratiously agreed to submit in writing, upon request from the winning bidder, a statement declaring this LP to be the last remaining original Music Emporium copy from his father's Estate.

NOTE: Mr. Ames is sorting through boxes of memorabilia and documents from his father's Sentinel days. He has not decided if he will auction them or not, or if they are even worth it. Interested parties, please email us at auctionup@hotmail.com
