Description
FAMILY - " MUSIC FROM A DOLL'S HOUSE ", Reprise (RSLP 6312), STEREO, UK Pressing, 1968.Very rare first English issue of the classic debut album by Family... this is the extremely rare early pressing with the front laminated flipback sleeve, white new inner sleeve "Riverboat" labels, plus maxtrix numbers RSLP-6312-A2.G/RSLP-6312-B1.G.This record has been professionally cleaned on my cleaning machine (Note: after cleaning such a record, I do not have the heart to put it back in it's original sleeve so I have put the cleaned record in a new inner and included the original so it is still complete).CONDITION:VINYL = EXCELLENT- (Although the vinyl looks pretty clean under normal daylight conditions, under my bright grading lamp I can just make out a few faint hairline surface marks - although they do not translate to any serious interuptions during playback (i.e. loud .. although looking at other past listings for similar LPs, many sellers claim that this LP always had suffered from some very light surface noise inherent in the pressing. However, to my ears, this record is by no means completely ruined by these minor defects... obviously they will affect the value of this record, but if you're looking for an original copy of this LP to play and accept that is a very old record and not a museum piece or lifeless CD re-master, then this could make somebody a very nice affordable purchase. No groove damage, distortion, Both labels are clean with only very light spindle trails. On playback, it plays strongly without distortion and it clearly has had relatively few spins - the clean labels with just the very lightest of spindle trails support this.)SLEEVE = V.G. (NO rips, tears, defacing, delamination, etc. But does suffer bit of light wear and has water damage. Most of which I'm sure can be cleaned off. Album in pics is the one you'll recieve. I've taken mant to give you as accurate a depiction of what you're bidding on.
