Through the looking glass of Stokowski conducting peers, I offer a commemoration of the life and career in historic recordings of one of classical music's most gifted and prolific Conductors, Leopold Stokowski.
Offered is Stokowski's famous Wagnerian conducting peer, ALBERT COATES' famous recording of The Revolutionary Scene from BORIS with The London Symphony and Chorus
The performance is emblematic of what had been called the Coates Sound
This 12" Victor is in E/E- condition
Note, while this famous recording has been transfered to both Lp and cd, this is the original sound mix: a desirable quality for ultimate enjoyment
