Description
This is marked to be used before broadcast by June of 1974 even though the Viking Lander's were the first spaceships to be sent to Mars in July 1976. Two lander's used to test samples at two different locations.
Interviewed the entire side of this one sided record was Chief of Viking Biology Dr. Harold B. Klein by Willard Scott. The total duration is about 15 minutes of listening, glossy vinyl. This will be given a generic white cardboard sleeve and new/clear outer poly sleeve. At this time no sales tax is required, or will be collected.
Project Viking To Mars: The Search for Life Elsewhere is the NASA Special Report #111, Monaural Radio Presentation.
Most of the subject matter is how they could find life on Mars through it's geography, weather, and biology. They go over different experiments to be tried on this first ever landing of our spaceship on Mars.
A very good, look back, at some of the same questions that exist today.
