IMPORTANT NOTE: I have been a buyer of vinyl records on Ebay and elsewhere online for quite some time so I know well all pain and frustration the buyers get due to incorrect or misleading descriptions of records provided by some sellers (even 100 % positive - my experience) that unfortunately becomes an increasing problem on Ebay. So my description is made from a buyer`s and not from a seller`s standpoint. My goal is to sell and make purchase pleasant to a buyer otherwise why buy music.
An ABSOLUTE RARITY and SO HARD TO FIND the 1st pressing of the second album by the classic band. These days you can hardly see this gets on surface. So now it is a UNIQUE opportunity to become an owner of this RARITY.
1972 UK STEREO 1st PRESSING on the PEGASUS LABEL under catalogue # PEG 14 and matrices A-1U/B-1U
The gatefold cover is in EX- condition - please see pictures. It is in good shape with general wear having no splits, unnecessary spots or writings whatsoever. Edges and corners are mildly worn as well as the spine. There is a bit dirty area on the back cover. Pretty much acceptable condition given its rarity.
The vinyl is visually in EX- condition having surface light scratches but nothing deep affecting play. I have played it in full prior to listing and overall playback is excellent with nothing but some background noise in a quieter places and a few ticks hear and there not at all detracting from listening. Certainly NO jumps, skips or pops. My play grade is strong EX.
The labels are in excellent shape with a number of spindle hole marks.
This is a definite keeper until final upgrade is found.
Grading is based on the Record Collectors Grading System.
PACKAGING
LPs are packaged in a manner to ensure safe traveling using stiffeners and professional envelopes to ensure safe arrival in the same condition as they leave.
