SUPERB TRUE UK FIRST PRESSING copy of Nazareth's 1977 Mountain LP, TOPS 115, 'Expect No Mercy', A//2, B//1 matrix suffixes!! Every copy I have seen listed as a first pressing states A//2 and B//2 as the matrices, but this is a B//1, surely an earlier and therefore true 1st press??!!.
Single textured sleeve is in fantastic shape!! There are a few very light spine edge creases, nothing major, and the barest hint of ringwear on the back. The corners, with a little very slight wear, are square and sharp, one slightly bumped bottom right. Also, there is the ghost of some small sticker residue top right. These minor points are all mentioned as I want to be as comprehensive as possible when describing this fabulous sleeve!! They are all minor points on what is one of the best sleeves of its kind that I have seen!! Usually the texture is flattened and rubbed, NOT ON THIS ONE!! BRILLIANT STRUCTURE, SUPERB COLOUR!!! Easily EX+!!
Inner sleeve just has extremely minor ringwear, again easily EX+!!
Vinyl is in equally stunning shape, a couple of very light paperlines, none affecting superb audio; grades EX+!!!
