Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my Beatles, Rolling Stones and some progressive records that are form my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare 1st Dutch pressing of Nazareth – Rampant on the SWIRL VERTIGO label, cat. no. 6370 401 with original insert.
The record is in VG++ condition, there are some non-sounding hairlines and one or two visible but non-sounding lines. The labels are in EX condition, there are a few spindle marks only.
The cover is EX minus condition, there is some very light handling and storage wear, mainly on the bottom seam. The dollar bill, which is pasted from the front to the back (this was done to seal the record) has a some age browning spots. Besides the mentioned damage this cover looks great; no writing, no rips or tears or other damage.
The insert, with on one side the song lyrics and on the other a photo of the band, is in EX minus condition as well; there are only a couple age browning spots, but that is about all.
This is an extremely rare Swirl Vertigo record by Nazareth. This album was released in the U.K. on the Mooncrest label. In the rest of Europe, this album was on Vertigo, but only released with a Swirl label in The Netherlands and Italy, making this a very rare and sought after pressing. This is a real must have for all Nazareth fans, progressive music / hard rock fans or Swirl Vertigo collectors!
