After a one song rehearsal this is their second demo "Slow Asphyxiation",
heavily inspired by early Sodom and Slayer with hints of Possessed.
Be sure to lay your hands on this if you are into old school extreme Death/Thrash metal.
This is Swedish Death Metal SUPREME.
This was their landmark demo and it was pushed to almost every fanzine, distributor and Label.
What's up for auction is no exception. From the dawning of their 2nd demo's release,
a certain Fanzine requested any material of NECROPHOBIC (to get a taste of their evolution),
and if YOU are the lucky winner... this classic chronology will be your keepsake.

Sound quality is awesome (for a demo) and it has no flaws in the audio.
The J-card Cover for "Slow Asphyxiation" is a color pro-printed J-card cover,
double sided with the reverse bearing a thanks list & band photo.

The J-card Cover for the "Reh-demo 89" is a card stock with a LOTTA patina from age (it was taped to a fanzine page along with their interview) Just recently recovered it, but in very good+ condition!
The reverse side of this cover has hand written titles from Joachim!

Cassette is a band issued promo tape with additional UNRL. stuff.
Includes: all 3 "Slow Asphyxiation" trax, followed by :
                   01. Realm Of Terror (Version 1)
                  02. Realm Of Terror (Version 2)
                                   03. Realm Of Terror (Rehearsal 09.22.1989)
                           04. Inborn Evil (Rehearsal 05.18.1989)

Most of the "Slow Asphyxiation" demo tapes were factory made cassettes.
This cassette is specifically produced by NECROPHOBIC as a PROMO for review in a California based FANZINE.
This tape was only used for promotional purposes only.
It has been in storage for the better of the last 14 years (possibly more)

And why did She not open any CLAIMS or wait for over 40 days to do this to me? Seems vindictive and SOULLESS. MY HISTORY I have been writing bands, fanzines, tape trading, etc since 1984... NO TAPE IS THE EXACT SAME (especially when they are limited or SOLD OUT) So, back in the early days (Mid 80s - EARLY 90s), when I'd order a demo directly from THE BAND THEMSELVES, sometimes I'd receive a unique copy. But if I had purchased it directly from a distributor, I'd wind up with the same old tape everyone else had. I just preferred getting my stuff from the bands directly so I could get LIVE TAPES or rehearsals that were not released, AND IT GAVE ME BRAGGING RIGHTS, sorta, because nobody else had this stuff. Of course, I tried to explain this to her, but SHE exclaimed that she has "EXPERTS" that can spot a forgery. Well, "Excuse Me", please who is an "expert" when you're dealing with 20 year old tapes that belonged to teenagers at the time? THIS IS THE REASON WHY I spend the extra $$$ on the SUPERSIZE photo package. For each DEMO listing, I do this to give YOU and all other "self proclaimed "experts" complete and total FULL detail of EXACTLY what you are bidding on. It allows YOU also to scrutinize ANYTHING inconsistent that you may see. And I will ALWAYS post the questions, if it is in regards to scrutiny. A picture is worth a thousand words! These tapes have ALL been stored away for probably over 16 years. Some were bought at a college radio station auction, others from fanzine editors. A few from ebay, some from friends, but most from bands. I TRY TO LIST ALL THIS INFO IN MY AUCTIONS AS BEST AS MEMORY SERVES !!!!!! So, PLEASE, don't allow this 25 year old college kid (who was only born in the mid 80's) to persuade your decision to bid on any perfectly stored DEMO TAPE. Hello? She knows only what she sees or reads about on the internet concerning the mid-late 80's & early 90's scene. Do not allow yourself to be persuaded by her negative feedbacks or negative remarks. It will only confuse you from bidding on an awesome array of VERY RARE and collectible demo tapes. As for Coffee stains, that's my fault, I adnit it. I am a coffee drinker as was my parents and that GROTESQUE cover probably did get spilled on. My fault for not putting that in the description, but I didn't think it would matter, as it had no stains. Sorry about ranting, but this girl is flat out WRONG about these tapes. And the way she went about DEMANDING the money back or she would leave me all negative feedbacks was very inappropriate. That's what CLAIMS and DISPUTES are for, i thought. I'm on here to present items to people who want these items. I have no use for bootlegging and I don't care to keep any of my items, so bootlegging them would be a HUGE waste of my time and resources. My Family would never have dinner to eat, the house would never get cleaned... THIS IS RIDICULOUS !!!!! WHATEVER DOES NOT SELL, TO THE CURB IT GOES! I have 3 kids and a Family to worry about, these tapes are the least of my worries. Christmas is very close and I opened this account for some extra cash. I had no idea these tapes were going to be worth so much. I think I'll just list the whole collection and be done with it, but I'm afraid there's more scammers out there who will steal the tapes, open a claims, get the money refunded AND keep the tapes.
