This auction is for a WHITE LABEL PROMOTIONAL, ORIGINAL ISSUE, 33rpm 12" stereo vinyl LP record album of electronic/funk/soul music. ARTIST: Ned Doheny TITLE: Hard CandyLABEL/NUMBER: Columbia #PC 34259 RELEASED: 1976 MATRIX NUMBERS side one: etched PAL - 34259 - 1A followed by an etched double oval with 2 antennae followed by lightly etched A 4 and then etched 1 side two: etched PBL - 34259 - 1A followed by an etched double oval with 2 antennae followed by lightly etched A 1 and then etched 1 ***PLEASE NOTE This is an original issue, not a reissue.
CONDITION:
PROMO VINYL DISC: EXCELLENT-minus - completely shiny, no scratches, no scuffs, a few small/very light sleeve marks/hairlines, looks great! WHITE PROMO LABELS with BLACK PRINT/LOGOS: NEAR-MINT - no writing, no stains, no stickers, no scratches, several light spindle marks.GENERIC PLAIN WHITE PAPER INNER SLEEVE (included due to the poor condition of the original inner sleeve, noted below): MINT - no splits, no stains, no writing, no tears.
ORIGINAL GLOSSY PAPER INNER SLEEVE PRINTED ON ONE SIDE WITH PHOTO OF MR. DOHENY & ON THE OTHER SIDE WITH LYRICS/CREDITS/ETC.: FAIR - both sides completely split & bottom edge almost split all the way through, very light water stain bottom right corner of lyric side, no writing, no tears.
PROMO COVER (with title & timing strip bottom front and gold-stamped promo statement top left back corner): EXCELLENT-minus - solid & complete, no cutout marks, no splits, no writing, no stains, no stickers, very mild ringwear, notable edgewear top half of spine, almost no surface wear, light crease mark top left back corner.
