original vintage US 1958 Tradition Records(1020)LP pressing of collected 1947 Alan Lomax on-site recordings
from Parchman Farm Mississippi Penitentiary inmates: "NEGRO PRISON SONGS" a bit of a rarity nowadays,
the VG condition LP shows lotsa marks/scuffs but it plays thru fine w/some surface noise if you came up on CDs, this is not for you if you came up on records, you will love this for what it is...... the cover is in VG/VG+? condition some spine wear & 2" split top seam - not offensive some mo wrote their name on back....

bends/creases/teeth marks/gouges/drool/killed korners.... no booklet is included this is an extraordinary historical artifact re 'where it all began' w/extensive liner notes
