Description
- NEGRO TERROR were an up-and-coming Three Piece Rock band from Memphis, Tenn. in the mid-to-late 2010s. Fronted by the giant presence of one Omar Higgins, the heavy-weight, dedicated, animated bassist and vocalist who oozed charm. Reportedly he talked two musician friends of his that he knew from the reggae and soul scene (R.i.c.o. and Ra'id Khursheed) to form an old-school hardcore punk trio. Their set consisted of several original tunes, and some punk and oi! covers - one of which, "Voice of Memphis" was a reworking of an old British skinhead anthem, "Voice of Britain" - written by Ian Stuart Donaldson. This plus the self-penned B-side, "We Need Support" make for a rocking slab of vinyl. Sadly, this is the only single ever recorded for release by the band, as Omar passed away less than a month after this record was released. THIS IS A VERY RARE & ENJOYABLE NEW, UNPLAYED RECORD.
