NEIL DIAMOND - Velvet Gloves And Spit; Germany 1972 / 1973, Teldec (Telefunken-Decca)/UNI MAPS 4006, white label test pressing LP on 2 one-sided 12" discs, gatefold cover. 

One-of-a-kind advance test pressing set for the Neil Diamond 'Velvet Gloves And Spit' release in Germany. This LP test pressing set on two 12" discs dates Nov. 28/29, 1972. At this stage of the production there was no catalog # given for this album, which was about to be released some months later in 1973, only the US data got notified on both labels. This is also the only matrix information stamped in the run-out area, besides '1972' and 'Manufactured in Germany'. Both B-sides are completely blank. This set can be seen as the very first German pressing of this album.
