A Tab In The Ocean
1972 GERMAN BELLAPHON BACILLUS BLPS 19118.
This is a musically brilliant progressive psych/space rock album by the excellent uk band Nektar, most think that the group were German and they were actually the closest any uk band came to Krautrock, this 1972 album is their most highly rated at the prog archives and when listening to both sides you will know why. The copy on offer here is a very rare original thick press German issue that does not turn up for sale very often at all, especially in such brilliant ultra-clean playing condition as this.
CONDITION.
The thick pressed vinyl has no noticeable surface marks at all and looks brand new, both sides play and sound amazing with a excellent very clean and clear sound quality throughout, the vinyl has been barely played at all and so displays the absolute minimal amount of light hiss/crackle and the very occasional background tic (just 2 or 3), there really are no surface marks at all apart from just one or two extremely feint hard to see sleeve hairlines so there are no continuous areas of crackle or pops. This is a top near mint playing copy that will not disappoint.
Both labels are in very clean and bright condition with no defects at all.
The matt gatefold sleeve is excellent with just a few very small marks to the front, the inside gatefold is in superb condition and the back is also great with minimal wear only. The original white poly-lined inner sleeve is in excellent clean condition and has certainly done it's job of keeping the vinyl in brilliant clean playing condition.
