Every Tuesday between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm (European Time) I will offer old Punk records. My name is ‘punky_music’
Like dynamite. This Hardcore killer was given 9 of 10 points by the FLEX book/website (US Hardcore/Punk Discography). A real fighter from the States and a superclean pressing in tip-top condition. You will be the second owner. You are bidding on the brilliant 2x7“ by NEON CHRIST from Atlanta. The same sold on eBay for $143 (US). An absolute beauty this one. All these 12 tracks were produced in March 1984. This double single features 8 tracks from their legendary first single from 1984 plus 4 powerful and really fast songs which named ‘Blind Patriot’ / ‘The Death They’ll Give You’ / ‘Ashes To Ashes’ (taken from the PEACE compilation) and ‘The Knife That Cuts So Deep’. Original first US pressing, released on private mini label ‘F-king’ records in 1990. As additional, here’s the comment from the great FLEX (US Hardcore/Punk Discography):
- Record 1 is the first EP, but the 2 first tracks from the original B side are missing (why?). Record 2 contains material from 1984 (Ashes to Ashes is from Peace comp. LP) that is even better than the other 7”, three ultrafast tracks plus one melancholic love song. [9]
- Die langersehnte Wiederveröffentlichung der ersten 7”; unerklärlicherweise fehlen die 2 ersten Songs der zweiten Seite… schade! Auf der zweiten 7” gibt’s noch ein paar neuere Tracks zu hören, die durch die bessere Produktion noch wesentlich kraftvoller kommen als die der alten EP. Auf der einen Seite 3 rasend schnelle Fetzer mit schönen/ruhigen Passagen, auf der anderen ein melancholischer, aber trotzdem kraftvoll/krachiger Lovesong. Genial.

Mailing / Versand: alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden (all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits). Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt (all records will be shipped in special record mailers, two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending).
