NEU! "Neu!" vinyl LP. 1972 Brain German original vinyl issue. Gatefold. Catalogue number brain 1004.
Condition: Excellent: vinyl excellent, original shine, labels near perfect. Very few signs of play. Audio playback is excellent, punchy, clear dynamic (very slight intermittent crackle on quieter tracks).
Sleeve is a laminated gatefold. The laminate is lifting at the opening especially on the front (you can see this clearly in the photo - in fact I took the photo is a slanting light to overemphasise this). Also at the rear and very slightly along the spine. Minor fading. Other than this, the sleeve is solid with no major defects. Spine is solid, there are no tears, no writing. Inside the gatefold shows very little sign of being handled. Overall I would say that for a laminated sleeve of this era, this is in VG+ condition. A very fine copy - and the original German issues are rare in this condition.
This is a beautiful piece of German electronic rock music but then you know that already. I purchased this secondhand in 1988 from a very good dealer. The condition then was excellent and it has only been played by me about half a dozen times (I made a tape of it immediately, and then subsequently got the CD versions as they became available). Sad to see it go really but life is short....
