With its diverse influences and lasting impact on the metal scene, this album stands as a critical piece of the genre's rich history.
When I bought this, it was so heavy, to my ears. I bought Nirvana Sliver 12" same time as this album. When I got back to my apartment, I played Neurosis first and Nirvana second. Nirvana sounded so weak, compared to Neurosis, I returned the Nirvana 12" immediately and bought some beer. Looking back, probably not the smartest move but just wanted to give you all an idea of how awesome this album was and is.
