Description

Selling off entire collection of rare NMH vinyl. More will be listed each day. Very rare and never available for sale!! This copy has never been played and is in mint condition w/inserts. Like all the rare 7" NMH records I'm selling, these collectable records are sure to only increase in value as they've already done. It should make for a good investment.

NMH's 1st ever release on vinyl!!!! This was put out through Box Dog Sound Records in 1993, cat# BD 005. The amount produced isn't known, but they're weren't many of these made and like most of these records they never come up for sale and are next to impossible to find.

The version of "Ruby Bulbs" on this release is the same as the one on the Hype City Soundtrack cassette. Almost. While they are the same recording and both have a few seconds of "Tea-Time" as the intro, the version on Hype City has a 10 second answering machine message interspersed between "Tea-Time" and "Ruby Bulbs" which is not included on the version found on this 7". It should also be noted that the tracklist for this 7" has a typo in the song name, leading it to be erroneously referred to as many times "Rubby Bulbs" afterwards.
Full tracklist: Neutral Milk Hotel - "Ruby Bulbs" / The Mountain Goats - "Faithless Bachant Song" / Duh - "Laugh At Me" (live) / Dosed Bernie - "Various Uses of the Blender" / James Rao - "Lighter" / Socks-off the Leash!! - "Persitalsis"

I have many NMH records that I'll be listing including many extremely rare 7" records that may never come up for sale again. Some of them have only 100 to 300 that were ever made. I spent years gathering my collection of NMH records starting from the day I first saw them play in the late 90's to the early 2000s. Most of the records took me years to find so here's your chance at landing some extremely hard to find vinyl from the best band out there today.

Please ask if you have any questions!
