Original LP Issue
LP NEVER PLAYED -- the vinyl is as new and mint
I always bought two copies of favorite LPs: one to play on the Conrad Johnson // Thorens setup, and one to save and store. This is the saved and stored copy. (FYI, back then I always removed the factory shrink wrap to ensure the correct LP was in the sleeve, and to prevent bending of the sleeve and LP due to misaligned or too-tight shrink wrap.)
Purchased new by me when released
In storage in my home since purchase
Vinyl is as new, unplayed and is mint (M) to any reasonable person; I suppose it inexplicably could graded near mint (NM) by some of the "Goldmine" grading standards folks who believe "mint" does not exist anywhere or anytime (although this LP vinyl is pristine and has never been played)
Labels also are as new and pristine -- with original inner sleeve
Cover is VG; has stain along bottom but otherwise would be VG++ or NM. Cover condition is consistent with my several relocations and requisite handling, packing, unpacking and decades of storage. But this vinyl has never been played.
