Description
The New Blockaders / Organum "Pulp" 7" single issued by Aeroplane (AR07) in the UK, 1984. Edition limited to 279 copies. Gatefold sleeve. ****** Rec:m Cov:m ****** One of the purest editions ever produced by Organum and New Blockaders, a starting point for many. Offered here is a copy of the impossible to find "Pulp" 7" in top mint conditions! Fold-out black & white cover featuring two w.w.ii american fighters with record title and artists written in a 'cuboid' text style. Sleeve flap features the words "even anti-art is art & that is why we reject it". Labels are white on blue with a 17th centuary woodcut image. Standard white 7" bag stapled into fold-out sleeve. Originally only 250 copies were ordered, however the pressing plant accidentally exceeded that amount and pressed 279 copies. David Tibet, writing in Sounds (december 1st, 1984) made this his 'single of the week' and wrote: "The voice of the new underground of the avant-garde, which means that not only is it uncommercial, but there is not a hope in hell of being able to dance to it. Involved in this is someone whom our own Winston Smith once discussed as a 'boring bastard', which means that it doesn't sound like Joy Division. A true classic!". ****** (references: avant, experimental, power electronics, musique concrete, Rupenus, Alien Brains, Bladder Flask, Organum, David Jackman, Nurse With Wound, Scratch Orchestra) ****** ATTENTION!!! the following are the correct postage costs: unregistered priority mail is about 8 US dollars to europe and 10 US dollars to the rest of the world (except for oceania to which it is 12 US dollars). please note that with unregistered priority mail the item will be shipped at your only risk (since there will be no receipt of the shipment, in case of loss the seller is not to be considered responsible in any case). registered airmail is about 10 US dollars to europe and 13 US dollars to the rest of the world (except for oceania to which it is 17 US dollars). please note that winning multiple items can make you save on postage. preferred payment is paypal, although other options may be available.
