Description
This is a fine U.S. pressing copy of a 1985 comp of singles and unreleased tracks by California garage band the New Breed. From the state capitol, Sacramento, the group released four singles in 1965-66, and recorded tracks for an LP that was never released. They were very popular locally, and two of their singles came out on major labels, but they never broke through nationally. After an ill-fated LP under a new name, Glad, the group morphed again (minus one original member) into Redwing, and found national success in the early 1970s. The jacket has some creasing on the front cover, and is otherwise close to pristine -- EX(+). The disc is clean; the source discs play with mostly light surface noise. Graded visually, M-.
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
