Beautiful copy of the original 1959 pressing of the New Faces at Newport LP featuring Randy Weston and Patrolman Lem Winchester, on Metro Jazz mono E1005. Recorded live at the Newport Jazz Festival. The disc is just gorgeous and plays just about flawlessly and quite beautifully. There are a few superficial scuffs but they don’t affect the play at all. Really a fantastic player. The cover is likewise nearly pristine, with only the slightest signs of gentle use. This is a top, top original copy, hard to beat.
