Description

Available here is a NEW, FACTORY-SEALED (3) LP box set: "The Four Symphonies of Charles Ives".  Columbia D3S 783, stereo.  Obviously, the records and the box are in mint condition.  Some of the cellophane has separated (see photo) but the box set has been beautifully protected through the years.  This set was issued in 1971 and still shows an original pricing sticker from Tower Records!
Included in this set are (3) LPs - six sides of wonderful classical music - as well as a 16-page booklet with articles about Charles Ives and his musical legacy.

  • Symphony No. 1:  Eugene Ormandy/Philadelphia Orchestra
  • Symphony No. 2: Leonard Bernstein/New York Philharmonic
  • Symphony No. 3: Leonard Bernstein/New York Philharmonic 
  • Symphony No. 4: Leopold Stokowski/American Symphony
