Welcome to my listings.To all overseas bidders Please read before bidding. I will not falsify any information when sending custom declarations ( So please do not message me and ask that I do so ). I will indicate the true value of any item that has been sold. Buyers are responsible for all Customs Duty/Import Charges in their own country. The responsibility is not mine. All items are packed and dispatched in heavy duty LP mailers with cardboard reinforcements. I use heavy duty packaging tape. I always separate the LP from the sleeve and any inner sleeves that are part of the LP. This stops any damage to the item while in transit.
NEW ORDER Power, Corruption & Lies Scarce and becoming increasingly harder to find genuine Original 1983 UK First press 8-track LP, the classic second album from Manchester's finest that shook off the Joy Division style of their debut for a more synth based sound. Comes housed in the original Henri Fantin-Latour "Basket of Roses" sleeve with die-cut Peter Saville design complete with glossy black inner. FACT75
NOT PLAY GRADED: VISUAL GRADING ONLY
Please note that this is a used item and there is always isolated static, ticks, light pops that maybe or can be heard, even in the quieter places during the play of any vinyl. There will be elements of surface noise. Please remember that this is an Original 41 year old LP.I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable/system - Cartridge and stylus profile, tracking weight, Arm VTA, arm type all go to make a difference to the sound and performance of any LP/single being played.
THE COVER: The glossy die cut cover shows light wear to the top and bottom edges. The surface shows no major scuffing defects. The spine remains intact with again just light creasing. The spines text is clear and remains legible. All 4 corners show light wear with light creasing and very light age related rounding. The opening edge shows just very light age related fethering and light creasing. Otherwise there are no signs of any other forms of damage. I have graded the cover in EXCELLENT+ condition.
THE BACK COVER: The back mirrors the front in condition, there are no other signs of any damage which can be seen. I have graded the back cover in EXCELLENT+ condition.
THE INNER SLEEVE: The original black glossy inner has been graded in NEAR MINT condition with no damage only very light corner creasing.
THE VINYL: Both sides of this vinyl LP still retains all of their original lustre and sheen with no dulling and in daylight look awesome. Placed under a 100w bulb there are just very minor hairline marks to both sides when held under a strong light. There are no scratches which can been seen or felt. I have graded this LP in NEAR MINT condition.
Side 1 in NEAR MINT condition. Side 2 in NEAR MINT condition.
THE LABELS: The labels are in NEAR MINT condition and showing the lightest of spindle marks and wear around the central spindle hole.
