You are bidding on an VERY GOOD Plus original UK 1983 FIRST PRESS of THE NEW ORDER LP Power Corruption & Lies. This is an original 1983 Factory Records First press vinyl LP. Catalogue No. FACT 75
SLEEVE - the original Die Cut Picture Sleeve is in Very Good plus condition, see photos, there is light ringwear both sides and light wear to some corners/edges. Apart from this the spine is clean and fully readable and picture is complete with no tears or seam splits. The record comes in the original picture inner sleeve which is also VG+ with some light wear but no tears or seam splits.
VINYL - the disc is in VG+ condition, it retains all of its original sheen and the labels are clean and crisp, under bright halogen light there are a number of light scuff marks visible but playback is not unduly affected with a rich strong sound after some early static on the run in to Side 1. The run off includes A1:B1 matrices confirming this as a FIRST PRESS (MVS) and STRAWBERRY/ WHERE’S MURDER.
Overall a strong example of this hard to find 40+ year old classic LP, Bid with confidence.
All records are packaged carefully so that they arrive to you in the same great condition they left us. Records will be wrapped in bubble wrap and placed between two oversized thick cardboard pieces before being wrapped in brown parcel paper and taped up.
