Description

Up for auction is an unopened, un-played, untouched, original album from 1958.
Cliburn was the first American to win the Tchaikovsky Competition in Russia in 1958. This is the most famous album of that era. I am sure there aren't many of these left un-played in the world today. It truly is a rare piece of history. 
I bought this in 1996. It was unopened then and I took great care of it. The shrink wrap has shrunk a bit as you can see, but it is still intact, proving the album's unopened state.
I hate selling it, but I need to make room for other things. I was close friends with many Steinway people through the years and a few wanted this album. I never sold it. Well now is your chance to own it.
