This is a cool old record in very good shape. I am not a guru of Vinyl, though I certainly LOVE to listen to it. AND this 3 record set is NO exception. Wow! I have listened to all 3 records and they are great with very few extra noise to speak of. Finally, at the very end of Side B of Record 3, when I thought all was clear, I got an actual Pop, you know just about enough for a small skip. It's during Judy Roderick's playing at the very end just before the Cajun band Finale. So Live - So Nice. These records just ooze and drip out the life we are missing in much of our music these days. Please note I did not say all, cause there is some good stuff out there right here right now! :)
The covers on these are in great shape. I did not list all the MANY Artists and songs that are on these 3 records, but note in photo 5,6,&7 I took a photo of the song list. This shows the flaw, a flaw in most all, of the records owned by this owner. He loved music and wanted to learn songs. He would mark the songs he wanted to learn in pencil. Sometimes just a mark. Sometimes wrote the key. Sometimes time signature. Sometimes what harp. Just a little added Character. These seem pretty darn rare from my research, so heck they may be worth more than the Dylan albums I got up, but certainly even if not worth more, they are harder to find.
Again, as a non-guru of vinyl, I ask you to please ask questions of me or someone else for authenticity. I got this with a batch of records, some Bob Dylan, some other Folk like this. So this also make me think this, and the others, are all old and original of same owner and era. Just the pencil marks at least make me think same owner. See pics and let me know if you got questions. Frazier - Small Town Music - 601.859.8596
