Description
THIS IS AN EXCELLENT COPY OF THE UK RE- ISSUE OF THE NIC JONES LP “NIC JONES” ON THE UK HIGHWAY LABEL AND IS SERIOUSLY RARE IN THIS CONDITION! THE VINYL IS IN MINT CONDITION! THE COVER IS IN DECENT CONDITION FOR ITS AGE AND TYPE! DONT MISS THIS VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY!
The Catalogue Number is Trailer LER 2027 on the HIGHWAY label (see pictures).
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see picture) with NO wear, NO writing, and NO spindle marks that I can see! I BOUGHT THIS RECORD SHORTLY AFTER IT CAME OUT AND IT HAS HARDLY BEEN PLAYED AND THEN ONLY ON TOP QUALITY HI-FI EQUIPMENT. The vinyl is in SUPERB condition with NO scratches, NO scuff marks and NO signs of wear. THE RECORD STILL RETAINS EVERY BIT OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK! The record sounds as STUNNING as the visual! It plays with CRYSTAL CLEAR UNDISTORTED SOUND, NO sticking, NO groovewear, NO jumps, and NO crackle! The record plays SUPERBLY with ZERO DISTORTION! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way! Brilliant!!
The cover is in DECENT condition for its age and type (see pictures) but is a bit of a mixed bag! HIGHWAY covers were not very sturdy!
There is light ringwear to the front and back of the cover. The open edges are straight with only the slightest evidence of use.
Front cover: Most obviously, the front of the cover has various horizontal and vertical creases up to 1cm each to the left side adjacent to the spine and from the top and bottom edges. There is a long vertical crease adjacent to the spine. There is a 7cm diagonal crease starting 12cm to the right of the top left corner. BUT THE MAIN BODY OF THE FRONT AND BACK OF THE COVER RETAINS ALL OF ITS INITIAL GLOSSY LOOK WITH NO RUBBING!
The back of the cover is as new apart from the light ringwear (see picture).
THIS VINYL LP IS RARE TO FIND IN THIS MINT CONDITION. DON’T MISS OUT!
For packaging I use strong record boxes with extra stiffeners to stop damage and bends to the cover. All LPs are sent out with the record packed separately from the original cover to stop splits and damage to the cover.
