Description
OK, NOW A COUPLE OF WEEKS WORTH OF 45s OF VARIOUS STYLES - FIRST A WEEK'S WORTH OF NORTHERN SOUL AND POPCORN 45s - This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1968 U.S. EPIC RECORDS 45 RPM DJ PROMO RECORD containing the jazzy soul tune titled 'Know What I Mean' backed with the blues standard 'Why Don't You Do Right' from Nichelle Nichols, the singer turned actress who played Lt. Uhura in the original Star Trek TV series. It is Epic Records U.S. catalog number 5-10131, white label DJ promo copy with an inscription to that effect on the labels, packaged in an original Epic Records stock company sleeve. Both sides of this record can be heard on You Tube. Condition of record is a high VG with some surface marks, none of which can be felt or affect play, and one small surface scratch which can be felt and which may cause a couple of very slight non-distracting ticks, necessitating the VG grading\, record otherwise plays nicely with a little scattered light background surface noise. Labels have some contact wear. Condition of Epic Records stock company sleeve is VG+ with a little wear around the center hole and a few wrinkles. This 45 would be a nice addition to any Star Trek related or 1960s soul record collection!
