Description

NICK CAVE & THE BAD SEEDS "Murder Ballads" vinyl LP - original issue - UK label Mute; 1995; Cat.no. STUMM 138. Complete with original lyric insert. With a guest cast including Kylie Minogue, Shane MacGowan, and PJ Harvey.

The only Nick Cave LP that makes me laugh out loud. Often. It's a tongue-in-cheek take on the folk tradition of murder ballads - it is mad at times - has an unhinged quality that Cave & cohorts didn't return to till the Grinderman project.

Condition: LP & insert in excellent condition. (Detail: LP has two pressing flaws in the vinyl, obviously there from prior to purchase. These click for a few revs - no big deal). Sleeve is in great condition - has a bit of sticker residue and the beginnings of a 3cm tear starting on the top seam (though not fully gone through yet).
