Description
NICK DRAKE BRYTER LAYTER LP 1st UK 1970 FOLK/PSYCH NEAR MINT VINYL A-1U RARE
This is truely a superb album by Nick Drake on the original 1st-press Island Palm Tree/Pink Rim label. This is one of the rarest and most difficult to find UK LPs, especially with the vinyl in this condition.
Catalog Number:
ISLAND ILPS 9134.
Machine-Stamped Matrix Numbers:
Side 1: ILPS 9134 A-1U, 1R ..... Side 2: ILPS 9134 B-1U, 1O.
Album's weight (without packaging) : 340 grams
Cover - 1st-press (easily identified by the inclusion of the record company's name and address just below the Logo "I" on the rear cover) fuflly textured cover printed by E. J Day Group.. still in superb condition, sturdy with perfect top, bottom and straight opening edges.. Some of the printing (in white) of the catalog number, artist's name, album title can be seen on the right side of the rear sleeve (rest assured they're *not* blemishes).. just faint and partial storage rubbing on the top spine, front and rear sleeves.. extremely faint patch on the front right, rest assured that it's hardly visible .. that's just about the only blemish on the cover... graded Excellent++.
Labels - In superb condition.. clean labels with crystal-clear prints... possibly just one to two plays .. graded Near Mint to Mint.
Vinyl - Made of heavy and thick vinyl.. presence of some faint sleeve marks in places, graded Near Mint visually. Presence of very faint background statics in places.. graded Excellent++ to Near Mint aurally.
Inner Sleeve - original 1st-press light blue inner sleeve.. graded Near Excellent.
I'll be adding more titles to the list.. please view my other items.
