Description
Nick Drake, Bryter Layter LP. Rare original 1970 UK pressing, Island 'pink rim' label, ILPS9134
This is an excellent copy. The vinyl is visually EX; retains a nice sheen, and displays only light surface marks under a super-bright bulb. Whilst it has seen some play, its clearly been very well looked after.
It also plays very well. I have played it all the way through on my turntable (a ruthlessly revealing Rega P9 + ZYX Airy 3) and its plays a genuine EX - clear and crisp with no distortion - just a very small amount of surface noise occaisonally which does not distract from the music at all and a light 'pop' which lasts for five revolutions at the start of 'Poor Boy' - this is not very loud and does NOT make it jump. No mark is visible so it may disappear with a clean.
The sleeve is also in good nick it has, like all these sleeves, faded a little and suffered a little ring wear but the spine is completely intact and you can read all the writing and the edges are not 'feathered'. I'd grade it EX/EX-.

Postage to the UK will be by Special Delivery (I will cover the extra above eBay's max of 4 quid). Overseas at cost - the exact amount to be advised at the auction end. I would estimate £10 to £15 to most European countries and £15 to £20 elsewhere. I will only charge the actual postage cost; I will not charge for packaging.
