For Auction this stunning example of Nick Drake's Bryter Layter. Though not a first pressing this copy dates from the 1970s and was pressed well before Nick was "rediscovered" and (rightly) had his reputation established as one of the greatest talents in modern music.
The record is in fantastic condition. The vinyl is super-bright, shiny and clean free from scratches, scuffs and hairlines. The labels are free from rips and writing and appear as new. Crucially, and amazingly, the textured sleeve is crisp, vibrant without bends or buckles or damage of any sort. The correct black inner sleeve is present.
In all, the whole package is exactly as it must have appeared when it left the pressing plant well over forty years ago. A truly remarkable copy of an album that should be in any serious collection. It is hard to imagine that a better example from the 70s will show up any time soon.
