Nick Drake - 'Bryter Layter' (Island ILPS9134)

 

Okay here goes. A copy of this wonderful album on the 'palm tree' Island label. A very early UK pressing.

Firstly, the cover. This is the vaguely 'textured' cover (see pics) which is would be a VG+ but for a sticker mark front upper right (again, see pics). Otherwise a decent copy with only average wear. If you have any further questions do not hesitate to get in touch.

The record itself has the 'palm tree' pink rim label, with the Witchseason log but not the legend 'stereo' which I am informed appears on the very first pressing.

Matrix/run out legend is ILPS9134 A/B 1U.

The vinyl itself looks good, nice shine, no real marks or scratches to speak of. It looks EX- but plays a VG+; I say this as a little of the clarity has faded over the years. Still, it's one of the nicer copies I've seen and still a joy to listen to.
