Nick Drake's widely reported reluctance to perform live nor be interviewed, to a large extent, contributed to his lack of commercial success. His concerts were poorly attended and records sold poorly as a result. His hauntingly beautiful voice literally went un-noticed. This 1st-press album, released in 1970, sold not more than 3,000 copies. Hence it's one of the most sought-after records. The heavily-textured 1st press sleeve has a credit misprint for Robert Kirby that says "all string and bass arrangements" on the back cover, it should've been "all string and brass arrangements".

Cover - General storage wear around the spine and edges, strictly graded Very Good+++ to Excellent.

Labels - Graded Excellent+++.

Vinyl - Graded Excellent+++ visually. Faint statics in a few places, strictly graded Excellent++ aurally. A superb album all around.
