"Bryter Layter", second Lp by NICK DRAKE and released in 1970 on the legendary Island label. This is the extremely rare U.K. ORIGINAL FIRSTPRESSING with catnumber ILPS 9134, "Pink Rim" (Or "Palm-Tree") Island label, the stamped matrix numbers A-1U/B-1U and the completely TEXTURED E.J.DAY Ltd. cover. The shiny vinyl looks& plays NEAR MINT(M-), bare spindlehole&clean labels. The very sensitive textured cover is in clean excellent condition, but is repaired at upperleft hand, beautyful made, otherwise without tape, tears, writing, shows just very light wear at the seams and the corners (Ex). A FANTASTIC Singer/Songwriter work, absolutely UNIQUE sound, has all what a TIMELESS album needs (FOLK-CLASSICAL-ACID influences, and alternate instruments like FLUTE,VIOLA, HARPSICHORD, SAX, PIANO, ORGAN, as well as BRILLIANT MELODIES&HARMONIES), A MUST like the both other releases by this great&fragile artist.............................
