NICK DRAKE - Bryter Layter - MEGA RARE Original UK Vinyl LP with Textured Matt E.J. Day Sleeve and PINK RIM Label with 'Palm Tree' logo. A1/B1 Matrix. Also includes original Island Company Inner!

Very Good Condition. 

SLEEVE:                     

VG (Slight ringwear, but quite a lot of spine and corner wear. Overall in quite nice shape for a delicate sleeve )

INNER:

VG (Original Island company plain poly lined inner.)

VINYL:                        

VG (A nice playing copy overall, with only minor visible wear. Test plays as near excellent. Slight crackle between tracks, but generally good clarity of sound. There is a little bit of crackle at the run-in and very start of SIDE 1 and there was some noticeable crackle at the beginning of track 1 / SIDE TWO but the rest of the LP plays well with just a little occasional light crackle. At the very end of the LP's last track "SUNDAY" there is also some more noticeable crackle, but this is literally the last few bars of the last track! )

LABELS:                     

VG- (Classic pink rim with 'palm tree' logo. SIDE 2 LABEL HAS SOME COLOUR BLEED - see my picture below. Also there are 2 tiny blue biro circles 'o' that have been drawn on each side of the labels. They are very small and I have only just noticed them!)

GRADINGS

When grading records and CD’s I follow the standard UK grading system as defined by Record Collector Magazine. This is the most widely used guide and respected by Collectors Worldwide.

MINT (M) – Record is in brand new condition. The cover and all extra items are present and in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX) – The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG) – The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items (without any major defects) is acceptable.

I always grade honestly and accurately and unless a record is extremely rare I never sell anything with a grading below VG-
