<< THE RECORD EXPERIENCE >>
I am back selling records after a few months off due to other commitments. Many of the records are in top condition. I have had 25+ years selling vinyl and if you have purchased off me in the past will know I can grade and am a fair seller, please see my feedback.
Please note Mint- disc here will be like new, my Excellent grade will be also like many peoples idea of far higher, a VG disc here will not be trashed rubbish, a VG+ disc will be of a decent standard.
NICK DRAKE
FIVE LEAVES LEFT
**ORIGINAL UK PINK ISLAND 1969 STEREO LP (ILPS-9105)**
A rare and very wanted 1st pressing, this is not the same example that I sold last week to a happy buyer (see feedback). This example was my best example I have decided to sell and is in better condition. Please note the LP has surface crackle in the quiet moments / under the music I have yet to find a pressing on the 1st A2 / B2 that does not. Many Pink Island LP from the late 60`s do not play perfect like the 1st King Crimson LP for example play Moon Child! I got this from the original owner I was the 2nd owner. If you need a mint sounding LP please do not purchase this 1st pressing maybe get a re-pressing !!!
The Record / Very Good+ / A clean visual example even under strong halogen light. The vinyl playing surfaces have a few hairline marks / a little light surface wear on close inspection VG+ is very strict. The LP plays with surface noise / crackle under the music as I think most of theses pressings do so a play grade of around VG+ I would say. The LP has A//2 B//2 1st press matrix numbers. The original inner is also included with the LP.
The Cover / Very Good+ ) / Some edge wear but still clean for this cover and better than many I have seen! VG+ is strict and not over graded as you will see like so many chancers on the bay.
The Labels / EX- / Both still looking fine there is a little light wear, both are nice.
Please note I will only send this rare record via registered insured mail the prices are below. This is very safe and good for both seller and buyer with the Paypal protection that is in force, for overseas transactions I use international signed for post and take great care packing items.
Postage UK £8.50 (Registered Next Day) Europe £13.00 (Registered ) Rest Of The World £16.00 (Registered).
