Like all my original 1st press Nick Drake records, this is a very hard one to give up! As you've probably guessed from my eBay id - I'm pretty big on Nick's music. This, like most of my Nick Drake 1st press vinyl, remains un-played from new. I have multiple UK 1st press copies of his 3 albums that I'll be listing soon!!!  Firstly though, you are bidding on an impossible rare 'un-played' fully complete UK 3-LP box-set 'Nick Drake - The Complete Recorded Works'!!!  The legendary UK 1975 Island 1st Press box-set, quite rightly regarded as the best and most comprehensive compilation of Nick's work ever released.

As we all know Nick's tragic story now I won't bother with pages & pages of text on this; if you are reading this then I'm sure you are as familiar with Nick's life as I am. I guess we should just be thankful for the small but beautiful body of work he left us with.  As we all know, Nick's 3 records sold poorly upon release, some estimate that each album literally sold in the hundreds, whatever the case, to find any original 1970's UK Nick Drake 1st pressing is always a very rare event. This superb box set, as well as being very rare and un-played, features everything of any importance that he recorded.

I'll cut straight to the chase then and describe what you will be getting for you money if you are lucky enough to win this special auction. All discs are in MINT un-played condition, not a single blemish on any of them, they are all absolutely pristine!!!  Next up, the sleeves. Each sleeve is also in MINT condition, only ever having been removed from the box at best 2 or 3 times!!! Each retains its brilliant white colour and textured feel, with NO discolouration, NO unwanted writing/scribbles etc. and NO grubbiness!!! Inside each sleeve is the correct MINT black Island inner housing each record. The original booklet is also in incredible Nr Mint condition with no grubbyness, creases or unwanted scribbles etc. The staples are nice and tight, giving it all of its original 'booklet' feel. It has been read once before but it was handled very carefully and it has remained in Perfect Condition!!! The box has retained all its box-like shape with a Mint opening seam!!! There is some very light corner wear resulting is slight whitening but it is import to note that these are NOT dings or bashes etc. it is just light wear where a little of the blue has worn down, and that's it!!! The laminate is in beautifully preserved condition with NO cracking/lifting etc. there is just a tiny laminate crease near the top right corner.This box easily grades as Ex+!!! A beautiful original 1970's laminated box!!!

There is really nothing else to add here. One lucky winner will be receiving an almost perfect un-played copy of this very rare and sought-after original Nick Drake 1st press box set. It is however worth adding that this will be professionally packaged in a strong reinforced box to prevent damage during shipping, so whatever corner of the planet you live on, you will receive it in exactly the condition you see it now. Postage ... Hazey Jane has absolutely NO hidden surcharges; the price you win is the price you pay, just add the relevant postage, it's as simple as that! We always combine postage so if you win more than 1 auction you save money on postage costs! We will only ship to non-UK countries via Airmail - we do not use surface mail, it is way too slow and thus increases the risk of records being damaged during transit.

A little note about insurance - Please read carefully... If the value of your record(s) is over £30, your invoice will include an insured option. Being the responsible adults you are, it is entirely up to you to take this up  - we strongly advise you to do this but will not hassle you about it. You either add the required insurance or you don't. If you do add the required insurance and your record is lost/damaged, you will get a refund. If you don't add the required insurance and your record is lost/damaged, you will not get a refund. Can we be any clearer? I think not.

Refunds & Feedback ... Please read this carefully ... We try to give you the best quality examples of rare records available. However, there will always be somebody out there whose expectations far exceed UK record collector grading standards.  If you are in anyway unsatisfied with your record or our grading of it please refer to the UK Record Collector Grading Chart very carefully BEFORE emailing us. We strictly adhere to it and will only offer refunds (minus the postage AND our eBay costs) if we are satisfied that we have fallen below UK record collector grading standards. This will very rarely, if ever, happen. We will not be impressed with buyers disputing our gradings without even bothering to check the UK record collector grading standards chart first - you have been warned ...

Buyers who continually Haggle, Whine and Moan to try to decrease the price they won their auctions for will be blocked from bidding on future auctions and can toodle off down to HMV or Virgin where they can harass the counter staff there.

We will always leave feedback upon receipt of feedback. In an ideal world we would like to leave feedback as soon as the record has been shipped but due to feedback blackmail in the past (i,e, ",,,I want a partial refund or I will leave negative feedback") we have opted to take this measure. Contact must be made within 3 days of winning the auction. If payment has not been received after 10 days a non paying bidder alert will be placed.
