Part of an astonishing collection of records I have agreed to sell on behalf of a friend, here is a beautiful UK FIRST PRESS copy of Nick Drake's 1970 Island label LP 'Bryter Layter', ILPS 9134. A-1U/B-1U matrices.
Single textured sleeve (with lovely Nigel Waymouth and Keith Morris photos) is in very nice shape! Excellent structure, some obvious light edge and spine wear, and the spine has flattened backwards so that the text is visible from the back cover. There is a little light ringwear visible mostly on the front top left, and a few small signs of storage wear, nothing major. Still a sleeve in very nice condition, despite these minor issues! Colour is superb!! NO writing and NO tears! The sleeve certainly grades EX to EX minus.
Vinyl is in super condition, superb, clean, strong audio; the vinyl retains its as new shine and gloss, with only a couple of very light marks on side one, track one, and side two, track three, but these have no effect on the fabulous sound! The vinyl certainly grades EX+ and is a lovely copy of a great and very rare UK LP!!
