 NICO
Debut Solo Album
Chelsea Girl
In Excellent Vinyl Condition

This is a 1971 vinyl U.K. import copy of the iconic singer Nico’s
1967 debut solo album after her departure from The Velvet Underground
entitled ‘Chelsea Girl’. The name of the album is a reference to Andy Warhol’s
1966 film Chelsea Girls, in which Nico starred and the song is written, as are
most of the songs, by her former bandmates Lou Reed and John Cale. Other
selections are written by Jackson Browne, Tim Hardin and Bob Dylan.
With ten tracks and everyone a perfect jewel of a song, this is Nico’s most
melodic album and a timeless wonder by the original Goth girl herself.
Side One
1. “The Fairest of the Seasons” (Jackson Browne, Gregory Copeland)
2. “These Days” (Browne)
3. “Little Sister” (John Cale, Lou Reed)
4. “Winter Song” (Cale)
5. “It Was a Pleasure Then” (Nico, Reed, Cale)
Side Two
6. “Chelsea Girls” (Reed, Sterling Morrison)
7. “I’ll Keep It With Mine” (Bob Dylan)
8. “Somewhere There’s a Feather” (Browne)
9. “Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams” (Reed)
10. “Eulogy to Lenny Bruce” (Tim Hardin)
Please note this is a U.K. import, so it has the higher quality sonic pressing
that European imports have. Truly a real gem of a find. If your a film buff you’ll
know that the classic Wes Anderson 2001 film, The Royal Tenenbaums uses
two tracks from the album “The Fairest of the Seasons” and “These Days” perfectly.
Experience the music the way it was meant to be heard in all the
warm tones of its analog quality stereophonic vinyl sound and
not the inferior audio of MP3s.
Please add $3.75 for postage and handling if being mailed in the  U.S.
