Description

Rare early to mid 70s UK repress of Nico's powerful and haunting "Desertshore", her second collaboration with John Cale (the 1st 1971 pressing had different matrix info in the runouts, and a slightly different label design, otherwise very little difference). Gorgeous warm sound on the 70s UK vinyl, probably the best version of this classic in any format.
VPI cleaned, record in solid VG+ condition, there is some light surface noise on the 1st track (no loud ticks, pops, etc), otherwise plays great.  The glossy cover is VG+ as well; there is a small tear at the opening on the back side that has been fixed with tape (not very noticeable), otherwise looks really good for its age.
