GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge. I listen EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : raffinati temi romantici spesso pervasi da una certa sensualità nell'eccellente musica composta e diretta da Bruno Nicolai. La presenza di Edda Dell’Orso in sei tracce dell'album rende maggiormente sofisticata ed affascinante questa colonna sonora. I suoi vocalizzi privi di parole di senso compiuto sono un'essenziale parte della musicalità delle tracce in cui lei canta : a2, a4, a5, b1, b3, b5. La struttura generale dei brani ha natura classica dalla musica barocca alla sinfonia contemporanea anche in interessante fusione. Fuori da questo schema "Il Giorno del Giudizio" (b2) dal ritmo convulso sottolineato dalla batteria ed altre percussioni con l'accompagnamento di effetti sonori e del flauto: quanto basta per ravvisare interessanti venature psichedeliche.

Notes : refined romantic themes often permeated by a certain sensuality in the excellent music composed and conducted by Bruno Nicolai. The presence of Edda Dell'Orso in six tracks on the album makes it more sophisticated and charming this soundtrack. Her wordless vocalisms are essential part of the musicality in the tracks wherein she sings: a2, a4, a5, b1, b3, b5. The general structure of the tracks has classical nature from Baroque to contemporary symphony even in interesting fusion. Out from this pattern "Il Giorno del Giudizio" (b2) from the hectic pace underlined by drums and other percussion instruments with the accompaniment of sound effects and flute: far enough to recognize some interesting psychedelic veins.
