All records are graded to the Record Collector Guidelines, with extra information added as required when play tested. Also all photos above are of the exact record you will receive if successful.
This record is in good+ condition. It has spindle marks and some rubbing visible on the labels and there is also a touch of wear around the centres. The centres are not loose or worn however and overall the labels are clean, bright and free of really major issues or defects such as scuffs, pen marks or stains.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are free from anything really deep or that can be obviously felt but there is clear signs of use and its age with light surface lines, sleeve scuffs and the odd more sinister looking mark/scratch showing on both sides. These are all pretty light however and cannot be felt, but are nevertheless a clear sign of use. Under bright light all these light surface lines and marks do clearly show along with more wispy hairlines, but there is again nothing really sinister or deep. I have graded at G+ due the visual appearance of the vinyl.
I play tested the record and it plays through very well and is still a very enjoyable listen. As you can imagine for a record graded at G+ the audio is not perfect but it is also still very enjoyable and actually free of any major issues or interference.
It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is little to no movement in the record arm. The audio has some light surface noise and spluttering in the run in and between tracks but the majority of the music itself has little audible. There are no skips or sticks and I noted only 5 or 6 light ticks, followed by a few sporadic splutters in track 5 on side 1. Other than these which were audible but fairly discreet there were no other ticks of a serious nature noted. The audio is also generally clear from any major surface noise or crackling but as you can imagine it is not 'digital clear'. There was no major distortion caused by excessive use with only a minor hint noticeable towards the end of side 1. Overall it was still a very enjoyable audio experience and in my opinion the audio grades closer to VG+ or EX- rather than the G+ visual grade.
The sleeve is in very good+ condition. It has only mild wear to the edges and corners(pics), with the writing along the spine all still clearly legible. There are no splits or weak areas anywhere and overall the sleeve still remains rock solid. There are no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere on the sleeve but there is light ring marks showing to both sides. There is also some age related grubbiness to both sides, but this is mostly noticeable on the rear. There is also some creasing in places. This is mostly on the laminated front, in the bottom right area. Overall for over 50 years old it is holding up well and although not pristine it is still a nice looking sleeve with no major defects but some general age related wear. I have tried to describe it as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It contains its original 'rice paper' inner which is in good+ condition. This is due to it having splits in the bottom and left edges. There is also a 1.5" tear from the top(record entry) edge and some creasing and discolouring. I will of course include the original but will send the record in a brand new plain white replacement to ensure no further wear occurs to the original.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
I hope my photos are comprehensive enough but if you have any questions then don't hesitate to contact me. Also please check my eBay feedback for a positive history of record grading, A1 communication and quick delivery times.
All offers considered and more than welcome.
