Absolutely unique and quintessentially British/Irish.

Easily one of the hardest UK albums to find in top shape, extremely scarce Island album, as rare as any by Nick Drake, but the condition of this copy will not soon be equalled!!! Get this while you still can!!!

   The Existence of Chance Is Everything and Nothing While the Greatest Achievement Is the Living of Life, and so Say All of Us or simply 'All of Us is a 1968 release by the British psychedelic-rock group Nirvana which includes "Tiny Goddess," "Trapeze," and "Frankie the Great." Their most well-known song, "Rainbow Chaser," leads off, with its prominent phasing effects; "Tiny Goddess," one of their ballads, comes next.

   The cover shot depicts some of world history's most famous figures leading a procession through a mass of dead bodies.   'Rainbow Chaser' was to be their only UK top 40 hit and the three-part run of 'Girl In The Park', 'Miami Masquerade' and 'Frankie The Great' represents the most pop-centric product of their psychedelic formula.

The Nirvana song "Rainbow Chaser" is thought to be the first-ever British recording to feature the audio effect known as phasing or flanging throughout an entire track, as distinct from occasionally within a song such as the Small Faces in "Itchycoo Park". Phasing was, by 1967, heavily identified with the musical style known from 1967 onwards as psychedelia, and as "Rainbow Chaser" was the only Nirvana single to achieve commercial success, peaking at number 34 in UK Singles Chart during May 1968, they were invariably tagged as a "psychedelic" band. However, despite their name, promotional photographs on the cover of their first album wearing "flower power" style clothes that implied associations with "druggy" music and distorted acid rock-style guitars, the band actually had no associations with that style of music. "Rainbow Chaser" was one of the few Nirvana recordings that had any connection with "psychedelic" music, although "Orange and Blue" (1970) was acknowledged to have been written under the influence of LSD according to the liner notes of the eponymous album.

ONE OF THE VERY BEST AND MOST MEMORABLE ALBUMS EVER ISSUED FROM THE TINY AND TOTALLY UNDERGROUND  ACID FOLK GENRE WITH MASSIVE PSYCHEDELIC BUT ALSO CLASSICAL BAROQUE INFLUENCES, THIS WAS THEIR SECOND ALBUM ON ISLAND.

 THEIR FIRST ISLAND AND VERTIGO ALBUMS ARE ALSO WELL WORTH CHECKING OUT BUT ARE EQUALLY HARD TO FIND!!

The absolute rarity of this album is not to be underestimated. It hardly ever surfaces nowadays. This is an absolutely gorgeous slab of early quality ISLAND vinyl which is in splendid EX condition!! This has a lovely deep glossy sheen!! Hauntingly beautiful songcraft!!! Immense quality progfolk album that ticks all the right boxes and incredibly hard to find. I have twentyfive years experience in grading. It doesn't get much better than this!!

!!!!A VERY HARD FIND!!! Most have been bought up by collectors!! This is hardly offered these days!!

In all my years this is only the second time I have come across this PROGMONSTER. Immensely scarce and probably the hardest album to find on Island!! Sensational sound quality, I have played this through in its entirety and it was a great joy!!! NO skips or jumps. NO clicks or crackle, this is really a stunning heavy glossy jet black vinyl .The audio is impeccable. Inspected under an intense lightsource and angled.

Vinyl: EX++ to NM .  A sensational find!!! I have played this in FULL twice over> The replay is ASTOUNDING!!! I first played for a general listen and a second time for a more detailed observation. Only one wispy hairline can be seen under a strong lightsource. This looks like it was bought over the counter yesterday and I doubt whether this has been played more than just once!!!

Fantastic songcraft!! A personal favourite of mine and I am very glad to be able to report that this is a fine slab of vinyl without any problems at all and as such worthy of inclusion of any great prog collection.  Of course NO jumps/clicks/skips etc.

Sleeve: EX++.  Beautiful sleeve with front and back lamination. This looks fantastic, glossy and has just one tiny crease near the bottom corner. All else is just perfection. In one word: SENSATIONAL!!!

***This is a unique prime investment opportunity!!! Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible!!! This, however, is the best possible condition ever presented on Ebay. The winner will be delighted!!!

This is  a great and seriously collectable super album!!  You will buy into a piece of  prog core history.*** 

Labels: NM!!! Unmarked. NO spindle traces at all!!!!!! these are the very desirable ROUGH TEXTURED labels. Smooth labels are found on later presses and are likewise ultrarare as are the pink "eye" labels. None scarcer though than this label!! I doubt we will see this again this year or the next! Please look at the pics!!
