Bleach is the debut studio album by the American rock band Nirvana, released on June 15, 1989 by Sub Pop. The main recording sessions took place at Reciprocal Recording in Seattle, Washington between December 1988 and January 1989.

Bleach failed to chart upon its original release, but was well received by critics. The album was re-released internationally by Geffen Records in 1992 following the success of Nirvana's second album, Nevermind (1991). The re-release debuted at number 89 on the Billboard 200, and peaked at number 33 on the UK Albums Chart and 34 on the Australian albums chart. In 2009 Sub Pop released a 20th anniversary edition of Bleach featuring a live recording of a Nirvana show in Portland, Oregon from 1990 as extra material. Since its release in 1989, Bleach has sold more than 1,900,000 copies in the United States alone.[2] It is Sub Pop's best-selling album to date. Courtesy: Wikipedia

GRADING: primarily grade my records visually, based on the Goldsmith rating system of Mint, Near Mint, Very Good Plus, Very Good, Good, and Poor. Questionable marks and scratches are usually tested on a turntable and noted in the listing. I try to err on the conservative side in my grading; but since it is not an exact science, there are bound to be differing opinions as to what constitutes a certain grade. Suffice it to say that I strive to be as honest as possible in my listings, as I plan on selling records, etc. for the long haul and I am not interested in ripping anyone off. That being said, I would add that the time for questions is DURING the auction, not after. I will be happy to respond to any email as soon as possible.  SHIPPING: U.S. purchases will be shipped via Media Mail, unless another method is requested by the buyer. Canadian purchases will be using lowest rate, unless a different method is requested. MULTIPLE PURCHASES WILL RECEIVE SHIPPING DISCOUNT! Please make note of normal shipping time frames for delivery, and refrain from contacting seller during this period. RECORDS WILL BE PACKED WITH THE UTMOST CARE, WITH THE FRAGILE NATURE OF THESE RECORDS IN MIND. MEDIA MAIL IS MY NORMAL METHOD OF SHIPMENT, BUT IF YOU PREFER A SAFER, ALBEIT MORE EXPENSIVE OPTION, I CAN ALSO SHIP PRIORITY MAIL. CONTACT ME BEFORE PAYMENT IF YOU WANT AN ALTERNATE METHOD. International Buyers – Please Note:·         Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.·         Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.·         These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.·         We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior. Also, please note that if First Class Mail International is chosen as the shipping method (anything under 4 lps.) there is no way to track these packages, and the responsibility will be on the buyer once the package leaves my possession. (So far, I haven't had any problems with this method). A safer, albeit more expensive alternative, and once which automatically will be used for packages over 4 lbs., is Priority Mail International, which does have a package tracking feature to .
