Up for auction is a very nice and highly presentable looking NIRVANA Gig / Show FLYER or CONCERT POSTER LEGENDS (Tacoma Washington State) JANUARY 20th, 1990 ORIGINAL 1990 ISSUED FLYER (not some cheap copy)
Measures 15" Inches Tall by 11" Inches Wide Features supporting bands The MELVINS and MACHINE NO STAPLE HOLES but does have HALF-FOLDED Crease Mark
I was a lucky fellow being involved in music and living near Seattle during the late 80's and early 90's. I had seen how 60's garage records had gone from a few dollars to close twenty dollars' for say, a Sonics LP. I also noticed this craziness happening with Sub Pop Records and their early 'limited' pressing singles, aka TAD, Soundgarden, Blood Circus Anyways, I figured that maybe if I picked some of this 'stuff' up that someday it might be worth something. Wished I had obtained more boxes of this 'litter styled' goods.
As I recall, this flyer was given out at Fall-Out Records and Skateboards, in Seattle back when the 'gig / show' took place I would weekly go record shopping at Fall-Out, and they always had small stacks of extra flyers for free. Fall-Out was a regular stop for the Telephone Pole Staplers. As this is January, in Seattle figure most of the outside pole flyers / posters, lasted a day or three. WARRANTIED TO BE AN ORIGINAL PERIOD FLYER
Poster / flyer has some age storage wear from being folded-up and stored in a apple styled box with top cover. Has slight wrinkles at corners, VISUAL FOLD-MARK AT CENTER, folded slightly sideways, NO STAPLE HOLES or TAPE MARKS I actually have several of these but am only offering one for web-site documentation. I NOTICED NO other SHOW FLYERS for this gig / show, documented on google search or images
