Recorded at the Library of Congress in Washington DC on May 13th and 14 1953. BSQ performed on the Stradivarius instruments loaned by the Gertrude Clarke Whittall Foundation.


Record Grading: ? All Six Sides: NM+ Never Played. I removed each LP from its inner sleeve for the first time on 4/20/18, and only to capture stamper detail 1K/1C/1A/1F/1D/1E
  Box Grading:
NM+ The outer box and hard stock inner sleeves are all in pristine condition. I have provided numerous photos to show how sharp the corners remain, that all seams are intact, etc. The title is clear as the spine of the box has not been broken (see pic). The box does not show any aging or signs of handling/wear. All whites are very bright and all text is crisp. This set was still wrapped in the original fitted brown paper protective sleeve used to ship it to the original retailer.  

Overall:
NM+ The six LPs have never been played. The set was unboxed for the first time by me to take photos for this listing. There are First Pressing Stamper on all six records. I won't be too sad if this one doesn't sell as my duplicate copy is nowhere close to this one's near-perfect condition. Over the years, I've seen lots of the BSQ Beethoven sets but rarely come across these.  

Shipping:
I use a precise scale when calculating final postage to eliminate all unnecessary shipping expenses for you. I am always happy to combine auction items and will do everything I can to reduce the final cost of items you purchase from me.  For Box Sets I typically wrap the whole box in several layers of bubble-wrap and place 2-3 additional pieces of thin bubble wrap into the box itself to minimize movement and then ship as it was originally sent to retailers. However, at the buyers request I will be happy to remove the LPs and ship them outside of the box.  In that case, each LP will be shipped in its inner sleeve, stored outside of the box.  

Note: This is an item that is out of print or considered a collectible. Returns can only be made if the item is not as described. Bidder has 7 days upon receipt to inform me. I will issue refund once item is in hand, and confirmed to be in the exact same condition as pictured in original. Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.
